Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He takes great joy in being the best Carter in town.

History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Flame grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Flame. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Carter profession.

History: Born in the south to a Shepherd, Hirrathak learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A freak accident while working with his Carter mother left him crippled. He has achieved small success as a Shepherd.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. After a long history of fighting, Peter and his spouse have recently divorced.

Sorath fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Lidda was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Lidda decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned.
