History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Barbena grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Barbena. Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Alston was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Uzza has worked very hard to control her curse. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: Maegan hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. After coming to the age of reason, Maegan took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized white coat. Her golden hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a clover scrunchie. Her half smiles and green eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Portia hails from a village terrorized by brigands. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Portia was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

History: Gifted from a young age, Keyleth studied abroad. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Keyleth and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Shivering took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up rapier and armor he uses now. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
