History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born into a rich family. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Arnold was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: The child of a Courier, who enjoyed hunting, Hupe was taken on many hunting expeditions. He found a children's book about a Halfling Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age her mother died while driving off some goblins. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in nunchaku use. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nemeia fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
