History: Manfred was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Description: This man is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His crest is copper and curly. His gold eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: Rendar is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He keeps his black fur in a flapper bob. His green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: He was born into a rich family. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. Claira enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. Yurgunn is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Yurgunn lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and she is greedy
