Through the years after Jasmine was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Jasmine's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She struck the Stableman job and began her own company from there.

Her father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Syllin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Syllin has worked very hard to control her curse. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town.
