Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Kali enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Kali was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Kali alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Lia was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lia grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lia. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
