History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Born in the north to a Carpenter, Whurbin learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Glassblower arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. During her travels, Eleanor and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Eleanor discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Eleanor fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
