History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people
