History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His childhood dream was to be a Painter, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Knight for hire.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying north to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

A gifted student he started as a Soapmaker, but he got bored and became a Stableman. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
