History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Kugáluga was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When Oblar reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Valanthe embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Through the years after Valanthe was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Valanthe's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Valanthe and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Skamos grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Skamos. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he has decided he is irredeemable
