He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Igden embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Igden fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Foxilon is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
