Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are brown and beady.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dwarves.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and gnomish compassion

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: Born in the south to a Sculptor, Spear learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has achieved small success as a Sculptor.
Motivation: Expand his business; and balancing his hectic life and new sculptor responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: He was born in the north. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Târz took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up greataxe and armor he uses now. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: 5'1" and muscular, this eastern man wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His hair is blonde, silky, and of moderate length. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Aust was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and revenge

Personality: Vapula is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.
History: Gifted from a young age, Vapula studied abroad. A gifted student she started as a Architect, but she got bored and became a Shipwright. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shipwright.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with Stetson hat. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His brown eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.
History: Sindri was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Sindri fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

His white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.
Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: Malmûg hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.
