History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Marshal hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. During his travels, Igden and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Igden discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Igden fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
