History: Ekemon was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Akta was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
