Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. After coming to the age of reason, Merla took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants to work out more often

History: Roywyn lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Masseuse hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and to find somewhere to settle down
