Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He sports black clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. His silver hair is singed and shortened. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Tethren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Tethren was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Tethren's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.
History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and sabotage a competitor

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears a tan collared shirt and violet skirt. She accessorizes with a blue scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across her shirt. Her blonde hair is heavily combed to the right. Her amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes giants are coming to abduct people. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.
History: Virra was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Virra's homeland. Virra decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: Many giants want her driven away.
