History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Animal Trainer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Oda was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and to reunite with her absent father

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
