Through the years after Burto was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Burto's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and wants to open a new tavern

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She is a Sellsword first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Sellsword work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sellsword work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She's also a talented Sage, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When Shifting reached her early adolescence her Tabaxi father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions.
