Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: An older woman who wears a simple green robe with white stripes complete with hood, she is not a threatening figure. She wears a colorful flower in her rusty crest. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.
Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Miller arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and someone believes her a fraud

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his flail with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His chestnut hair is greasy and uncared for. He is baby faced.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Balam liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balam fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.
History: Rangrim lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Spy they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Cook, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A freak accident while working with her Baker father left her crippled. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.
