Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Thorin was born with his mother's beautiful face. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Herbalist they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a layabout and was forced into it by his family

Description: Standing 5'2", this woman wears a grey small hat and grey clothes. Her silver hair is heavily combed to the left. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Guard profession.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Barrister. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Gifted from a young age, Theriatis studied abroad. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now owns his own business.

Description: She is a pot bellied eastern woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her golden hair is knotted and matted. Her half smiles and blue eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born to a Soapmaker, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature nunchaku.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Rurik lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Rurik was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and regain custody of his daughter
