History: She was born into a rich family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Elf in existence. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She got into the Baker business at a young age. Her childhood dream was to be a Junk Dealer, but she was a colossal failure. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tiefling people; and to be a junk dealer again

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Gilkass lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Abalaba was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She struck the Navigator job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and wants to open a new tavern
