History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Through the years after Baelitae was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Baelitae's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Baelitae and her spouse have recently divorced.
