Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears blue painted combat armor at almost all times. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His gray eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. A true patriot, Lucan would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Lucan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Courier mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Description: He stands about 5'1" and wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His black hair is still thick. He has a dull look in his gold eyes.
Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.
History: Born in the west to a Dilettante, Cimer learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Dilettante responsibilities is difficult; and retire the richest man in the west

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.
History: Born in the north to a Masseuse, Grigi learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Scribe, but she got bored and became a Masseuse. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Masseuse.

Description: He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scimitar.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She dresses in tan turtlenecks beneath a white coat with violet slacks. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her eyes are amber.
Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: She was born in a small island village. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Meriele took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor she uses now. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
