After coming to the age of reason, Tree took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Breena lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Breena grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Breena. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Being a Blacksmith kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Creega was born with her father's beautiful face. A freak accident while working with her Navigator father left her crippled. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing her hectic life and new ruler responsibilities is difficult

History: Born in the west to a Hunter, Shágflak learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has achieved small success as a Hunter.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Shifting was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She moved out west to avoid the crime she committed. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

History: He was born in the north. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Watson never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
