Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. After a long history of fighting, Gilbert and his spouse have recently divorced.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Riswynn hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Chem was born with his mother's beautiful face. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Personality: Heather is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Heather fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
