History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Soveliss was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Halfling culture. Olunt enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Olunt was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She became a Shoemaker soon after.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Eiravel was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His first spouse was a Guard, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Corkitron isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is greedy

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
