She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Banker they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Tanner, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bertram grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and wants to raise her children well
