History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now mingles about in high society.

Through the years after Melech was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Melech's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Melech and his spouse have recently divorced.
