History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Simon grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Simon. He bought a scythe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Melissa embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Melissa was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Bolg was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Bolg's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Bolg and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jezean fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Patrick is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
