History: Gerbo was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerbo fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Darrak hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Darrak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His first spouse was a Gardener, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents enrolled her in a Druid school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and to get a good night's sleep
