History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Harriet fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. At some point she was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Loopmottin's homeland. Loopmottin decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She's also a talented Shepherd, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

A freak accident while working with his Architect father left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
