Through the years after Verin was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Verin's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Latbag grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Latbag was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Latbag never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
