The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Chad took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor he uses now. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Chad never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Windy grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
