When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Orsik was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Carter and found it very stressful. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To end his boredom.

Description: 4'0" and muscular, this eastern man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Veit hails from a village terrorized by giants. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Oppleby is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Oppleby's homeland. Oppleby decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He struck the Apothecary job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Description: He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat, and he perpetually has his club ready. He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
