The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. Hillanot liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She bought a bow and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it.
