History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Damakos was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Damakos's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. He's also a talented Actor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ronwe was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

John is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a Layabout, his father struggled to pay the bills. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Layabout. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and to reunite with his absent father

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Avelina liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.
