History: Born to a Roofer, her father struggled to pay the bills. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying west to reunite her family. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and many illithids want her driven away

After coming to the age of reason, Seere took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
