History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Curran was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Curran's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her childhood dream was to be a Sage, but she was a colossal failure. She has achieved small success as a Cook.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cook and was forced into it by her family; and to be a sage again

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Blacksmith for the past few years.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Leshanna grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Leshanna. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bow.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and revenge
