History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.
