However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Veloptima fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Juliana was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. After coming to the age of reason, Juliana took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Gifted from a young age, Baggi studied abroad. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to prove her worth to the world

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Maiathah grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Maiathah. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
