History: Bertram was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Godfrey took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Cairn was born the youngest of three triplets. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: Bertram speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: The child of a Healer, who enjoyed hunting, Bertram was taken on many hunting expeditions. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Gaaki was born with her father's beautiful face. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: She got into the Farmer business at a young age. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her mother's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered illithids who tried to eat her hand. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To be a Roofer again.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His black crest is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. He has a dull look in his red eyes.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
