Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Marastyr embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Unemployed hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Darrak alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Unemployed for the past few years.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He got into the Bellfounder business at a young age. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Maynild was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Barakas has worked very hard to control his curse. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His auburn hair is cut short. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
