History: Born to a Painter, her father struggled to pay the bills. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Verna's homeland. Verna decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Windy alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of giants

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Sindri hails from a village terrorized by goblins. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a scythe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and a deep hatred of goblins

History: Born in the south to a Herbalist, Bathin learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
