They married and had a daughter. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Mary never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Galiena was born the youngest of three triplets. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Galiena alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
