History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Unemployed. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Unemployed for hire.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying west to reunite her family. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
