History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Brewer arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her first spouse was a Fisher, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Volen was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Volen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
