He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.

History: Merla was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Merla was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She struck the Courier job and began her own company from there.
