Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Keyleth's homeland. Keyleth decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Keyleth fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a brown suit, pastel shirt, and white tie. He has chestnut hair. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is mildly Dwarf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Thoradin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Her green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Whurdred isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. Whurdred is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Peren hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Peren grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Biri liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Forcas took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
