In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Avice alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She tends to her Marshal job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 31. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rosamund grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hobart embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
