The war was a terrible time for her, and Ahinar does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Ahinar was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ploughman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She moved out west to avoid the crime she committed. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Marastyr and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she feels threatened by others

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Astaro alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
